Applegate Heating & Air Conditioning was founded by Roy Chapin in 1938. Roy's son-in-law Kingston and his wife Margaret carried on and grew the business. Today, the third generation, Garry and wife Cookie continue the family tradition along with the fourth generation, their son Rich.
Applegate Heating & Air Conditioning specializes in heating, air conditioning and sheet metal work. We service residential, commercial and industrial projects. Our headquarters are located in Jackson, Michigan.
We specialize in sheet metal design, fabrication and installation for projects of all size, ranging from $100 to $25,000,000. Our team is highly skilled and is dedicated to our customers.
In 2013, the readers of Jackson Magazine chose Applegate Heating & AIr Conditioning as "Best of Jackson" in the heating and air conditioning category.
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce named Garry Applegate its 2015 Small Business Person of the Year. The award symbolizes the personal strengths of owners of small business and recognizes the staying power, stability, success, growth, innovation and community involvement of the recipient.
